Susi, Anthony A. “Tony”, of Milton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 13th. Born in Boston, he grew up in Dorchester and graduated from Dorchester High School. Soon after his graduation he started the A. Susi Construction Company which he and his wife Patricia ran for many years. Tony was an active man with many loves and hobbies. He was happiest boating and fishing. For many years he and his wife piloted their boat to Jupiter, Florida for the winter. He also enjoyed scuba diving, learning to fly a plane and spending summers in Pocasset on Cape Cod where he often went quahogging and lobstering. Tony had a large vegetable garden every year and also enjoyed hatching and raising chickens, as well as, making his own red wine and cooking. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (Duggan) and father of his devoted children; Marianne McGonagle and her husband Steven of Barrington, RI, Kristina Diomede and her husband Peter of Westwood and the late Michael Susi. He was also the cherished grandfather of Daniel, Brenden & Kaitlin McGonagle and Ryan & Lindsey Diomede, and uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Ronald Coyne at St. Pius X Church, Milton, Wednesday morning, May 17th at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday, May 16th 4 to 7 pm. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
