Carnes, Donna M. (Ruff), 71, was called home May 12, 2017 in Louisville.
She was born to Walter and Elizabeth (Brumleve) Ruff September 16, 1945.
Donna worked in the Cafeteria in the JCPS school system, where she retired.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James F. Carnes; infant son, James; and a brother, Walter “Butch” Ruff, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Becky Culver (John), Patti Patterson (Joe), and Matt Carnes; three grandchildren, Kaitlin and Clay Culver, Malorie Patterson; and a sister, Betty McGrath.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; cremation to follow. Visitation is Sunday 2:00-8:00 PM.
