WEBSTER - Regina S. (Kwiatkowski) Moninski, 95, formerly of Webster, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Southbridge Rehab & Healthcare Center after a period of declining health. Her husband of 48 years, Felix Moninski, died in 2005.
She leaves a son, Richard J. Moninski and his companion Carole Spelic of Mineral Point, WI; a brother, Theodore Kwiatkowski and his wife Lorraine of Southbridge; a sister, Theresa Howard of Arlington, VA; a sister-in-law, Shirley Kwiatkowski of Georgetown, DE; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Thaddeus, Charles and Anthony Kwiatkowski and by a sister, Helen Kawas.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of Boleslaw and Czeslawa (Budzinski) Kwiatkowski. She lived in Southbridge for 32 years before moving to Webster in 1959. She returned to Southbridge in 2013.
Mrs. Moninski was a machine operator at the American Optical Company in Southbridge for several years. She was a homemaker for most of her life.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. She enjoyed gardening.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 16, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 AM Tuesday, May 16, in the funeral home.
