Mrs. Therese J. (Berube) Smeriglio, 62, of Atkinson, NH passed away on Wednesday, May 10th at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Born in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rita (Asselin) Berube. Mrs. Smeriglio has been an area resident all her life. She was retired from the telephone company where she worked as a 911 administrator. Mrs. Smeriglio enjoyed traveling, antiquing, and most of all spending time with her family. She was pre-deceased by her stepdaughter Tricia (Smeriglio) Lefebvre. Mrs. Smeriglio leaves her loving husband of 42 years John Smeriglio of Atkinson, NH, two grandchildren Timothy Lefebvre and Chelsey Lefebvre, her beloved niece Karen Pica and nephew Robert Pica, and her Goddaughter Karen Mercier. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 15th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd. Dracut. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday May 16th at 9:00 am at St Theresa Church in Methuen, Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
