Lewis Stanley Davis, 62, of Tifton, Georgia, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at his residence following an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Friday, May 12, 2017, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Ronnie Vice officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from, 6 PM until 8 PM, Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Davis was born October 12, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Betty Martin Davis and the late Lewis Earl Davis. He lived in the Tifton community most of his life. Mr. Davis worked in construction, with B & B Vending Company, as a radiator repairman and other enterprises. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family in his free time. Mr. Davis was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, Betty Martin Davis of Tifton, he is survived by a daughter, Melinda Hogan & Jody; a son, Jonathan Davis; a granddaughter, Callie Hogan; a sister, Beverly Platt, all of Tifton, and a nephew, Robbie Kearce of Moultrie. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
