Juanita (Steward) Garrett, 73, of Anderson, died May 8, 2017, at Countryside Manor, after an extended illness.
She was born July 29, 1943 in Livingston, TN the daughter of George and Hattie Mae (Boles) Steward.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and caring for her beloved family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Garrett, whom she married December 27, 1960, her loving son, Kenneth L. Garrett, seven siblings, Charles Steward, Glendola Nivens, Ann Cory, Bedford Steward, Frances Davis, Charlotte Steward and Clyde Steward, sister-in-law, Joan (Garrett) Mauck (husband Bill) and niece Linsey and nephew, Chris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, James Steward and her sister, Ruby Warden.
Service will be 12 noon on Friday, May 12 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Jim Harrison officiating.
Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
