Pauline L. MacDonald, of Westport, MA, passed away in her 93rd year, at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center on May 8, 2017. Born December 16, 1924 in Bennington, VT, she was the daughter of the late John Burhyte and Laura (Cardinal) Burhyte. Pauline was the widow of the late Arthur E. MacDonald, and sister of the late Robert Burhyte. She is survived by two sons; Raymond MacDonald, Fall River, MA, Neil and wife Patricia MacDonald, Brentwood, NH. She was a grandmother of two and a great grandmother of four.
Pauline spent her life helping and serving others. She worked as a waitress at Whites, a certified home health aide, piano teacher, and a neighbor always ready to help those in need. However, she was best known for her pies and johnnycake pancakes. Anyone who visited would be given a treat. Hospitality was her specialty. She enjoyed antiquing with her husband along with their many visits to Ireland.

Funeral arrangements are private.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
