William A. Mangiasi Sr., a longtime resident of Medford, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old.
William was the husband of the late Anna (Barretto) Mangiasi. He was the beloved father of Annmarie Mangiasi of Somerville, Christine Penta and her companion Rick Guarente of Billerica, and William Mangiasi and his wife Lisa of Medford. William was the brother of Barbara Waff, Rhoda Hann, and Donna Mangiasi. He was the cherished grandfather of Anna, Anthony and his wife Alicia, Danielle, Domenic and his wife Eleanor, Crystal, Miguel, John and Nicholas. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday May 9th at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday May 8th from 4-8pm. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
