Obituary

Grace Lois (Arsenault) Capone, of Winchester, passed away on May 3rd surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Capone, and the loving mother of Maryanne Barron and husband Stephen of Winchester; Deborah J. Mullen and husband William of Shapleigh, ME; and Regina Capone and fiance James Gray of Woburn. She was pre-deceased by sons Joseph P. and Wayne A. Capone. Grace was also the dear sister of Gladys Errico of Winchester, Bernard Arsenault of Alton Bay, NH, and is further survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Grace was not to be defined by the illnesses that plagued her over the past 30 odd years but for the constant strong will that she brought to the battle. She worked all her life and found joy in giving back to her family and friends. Always the first one to offer help with a ride, a meal, a friendly gesture, Grace was there to celebrate every holiday, every occasion, every event. Christmas was the pinnacle - she loved going all out with gifts for everyone, food - she did it all. The most important thing to Grace was her family. She loved and cherished them all and gave them a lifetime of memories. She will be missed by all that knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Sunday May 7th from 2-6PM and again on Monday May 8th at 9AM followed by her funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 10AM. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers, donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, 60 Walnut St # 102, Wellesley, MA 02481 and Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave, Norwood, MA 02062.
