Allan J. Dobbins of Waltham passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, April 28th. He was 60 years of age. Born and raised in Woburn he was the son of the late Ellwood E. and Winifred (O’Hearne) Dobbins.
Allan had a talent of restoring and fixing up automobiles new and classic. He was a great mechanic and his craftsmanship was displayed with the restoration of his prized 1966 GTO, Pontiac which he adored. Although Allan was born and raised in Woburn he spent the last 30 years as a resident of Waltham.
Allan was the devoted father of Nicholas Dobbins of Lowell, Nathan Dobbins of Woburn and Noreen Dobbins Joyce of Stoneham. Loving grandfather of Chase and Ava. Dear brother of Dan Dobbins of NY, Shelia L. Dobbins of Reading, Kevin Dobbins of Woburn, Donna L. Dobbins of NH, and the late Patricia A. Dobbins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Friday, May 5th, from 4 thru 8 PM, at the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn. Interment will be private.
