Obituary

Ohmstede, Karl, 85 of Duxbury, formally of Roslindale. Passed away peacefully on April 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of Margaret (Cawley) for 50 years. Loving father of Karl of Duxbury. Son of the late Karl and Helen (Kuntz) Ohmstede, he also leaves his brother Harry Ohmstede of West Roxbury and his family. Karl will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Veteran U.S.A.F late member of the MBTA, local 589. Karl was a passionate sports fan, verocious reader and music lover. He loved to discus current events, history, music, and particularly enjoyed schooling the younger generation. His favorite thing was spending time with his family and friends.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, from 3:00 to 6:00PM, with a service immediately following at 6:00PM at the Funeral Home.
