Thelma Irwin
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, April 30, 2017, Mrs. Thelma B. Irwin, 92, loving wife to the late Frank Irwin.
Thelma was a native of Jasper County, GA but moved to Augusta 23 years ago from Macon. She was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.
Family members include her daughter: Lynn Stewart and husband Mark; son: Carl Irwin and wife Sue; grandchildren: Wendy Davidson, Chuck Irwin, Shannon Robbins and husband Greg, Wesley Stewart and Carrie Stewart; and great grandchildren: Taylor Davidson, Abby Davidson, Jackson Robbins and Daniel Robbins. She had a special relationship with her niece, Frances Williams, who lived next door to her.
The family would like to thank her loving caregivers: Amy, Wendy, Angie, Judy, Beth and Shirley.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastors John Kenney and Forrest Page officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
