Sharon L. (McBride) Pechulis age 74 of Holbrook, died Friday April 28, 2017 at Curahealth in Stoughton. Sharon was born and raised in Weymouth a daughter of the late Milton and Mildred (Loberg) McBride and was a graduate of Weymouth High School.
In 2004 Sharon retired after 20 years of service with the US Postal Service as a supervisor at the Boston and Waltham centers. In her free time, Sharon enjoyed writing poetry and playing scratch tickets. She also loved the Boston Red Sox and had been a member of the Brockton Mothers of Twins Club.
Sharon will be remembered as a feisty live wire with a keen sense of humor. She loved her dog Lucky and cat Miss Priss but most importantly spending time with her family.
Sharon was the mother of Eugene Genereux and Mark Generaux both of Brockton, Tami Pechulis of Holbrook, Todd Pechulis and his with Karen of E. Bridgewater, and the late Robert and Kristyn Genereux. She was the sister of Linda Garcia of Whitman and the late Robert and John McBride. She also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sharon’s wish was that everyone dress casually in Red Sox attire for her services.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte.123) Brockton on Tuesday 4-7pm. A procession will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8am for a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes at 9am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
