Florence A. Mazzoni (Santilli) age 83 of Canton passed away April 28th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pittston, PA, she was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School and lived in Hyde Park for over 60 years before moving to Canton 7 years ago. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for L. E. Mason in Hyde Park for many years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time at the Canton Senior Center, cooking, listening to music and reading. She also was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing at St. Catherine’s in Norwood. Beloved wife of the late Elmo R., Sr. Mother of Robert E. Mazzoni and his wife June of Canton, Linda M. DiCenzo and her husband Richard of Hyde Park, Elmo R. Mazzoni, Jr. and his wife Yolanda of Foxboro, Lola O’Connor and her husband Joseph of Canton and Tina Powers and her husband Brendan of Canton. Sister of the late Alfred and John Santilli and Anna Lyra. Sister in law of Violetta Gabelloni of Italy. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Tuesday morning at 10.
