FALL RIVER…Natalia (Machado) Crespo, 62, of Fall River passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at St. Anne’s Hospital.
She was the widow of Fernando Crespo to whom she was married for 17 years and Luiz DoRego to whom she was with for 6 years.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Albano and Clotilde (Sousa) Machado. She moved to Fall River in 1984.
Mrs. Crespo worked as a Floor Girl for Spindle City for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, watching her Portuguese soap operas, but most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters; Monica Saraiva and her husband Carlos of Marlborough, Ana Vazquez and her husband of Houston, TX, Catarina Crespo and her fiancé Michael Torres of Fall River, and Andrea Crespo of Fall River, a brother; Michael Machado of Fall River, 6 sisters; Zelia Ferreira, Gilberta Damaso, Fatima Ponte, Cecilia Crespo & Conceicao Botelho, all of Fall River and Ines Ponte of Swansea, 7 grandchildren; Desiree, Nathan, Wayne, Arianna, Ashton, Jr., Mason and Skyla, a great grandson; Shane, Jr. several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 9:30 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden St. Fall River, MA. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday from 8 - 9:30 AM, prior to the funeral.
