Obituary

Eileen L. (Crowninshield) Perry, 86, of Taunton, passed away April 28, 2017 at Morton Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred “Butch” Perry.

Eileen was born in Taunton a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Fannie J. (Julio) Crowninshield.

Mrs. Perry was a Saint Mary’s High School graduate, class of 1949.
She was employed as a paymaster for Reed & Barton for forty-six years before retiring.

After retirement, Eileen and her late husband Butch enjoyed spending time at their Falmouth home. She and Butch would take their daily walk, and sit by the harbor, listening to music with their “cape friends”. They also enjoyed cruising to a total of fifty cruises. Eileen found joy in knitting,crocheting and baking for others.

She was the sister of Francis Crowninshield of Berkley and Loretta Gracia of Dighton, she also leaves several loving nieces and nephews. Eileen was also the sister of the late Joseph and Edward Crowninshield.

Mrs. Perry’s funeral with visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 9 am from The Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway,(at St. Mary’s Square) in Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saint Mary’s Church, Broadway in Taunton. Interment will be held privately in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Eileen’s memory made to; Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, would be deeply appreciated.
