Obituary

Paula D. Hamblin (Brown), 73, of Lakeville died Tuesday, April 25th, after a brief illness at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Paula graduated from Brockton High in 1962 and then volunteered her time as a candy striper at Brockton Hospital. She later went on to work as a nurse's aide at Colony House Nursing Home in Abington for close to 30 years.

Paula was a member of the Women's Auxiliary for many years at the American Legion of Abington.

She enjoyed music, good food and most of all, spending time with family

She is survived by her three children, Genine Murray and her husband Tim of Hanson; Chris Hamblin and his wife Susan of East Bridgewater; and Mary Noonan and her husband Donald of East Bridgewater. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren; Christopher, Tom, Kelsey, Hailey, Jeremy, and Damien. She also leaves behind three sisters, Susan Seelye and her husband Bob of West Bridgewater, Michelle Llanes of Plympton, and Donna McElroy and her husband Dan of Hanover, as well as longtime companion Flip Seelye.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday, May 1st at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Spring Lake Cemetery, Rockland. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 30th, from 4-7pm.
