H. Eugene Blackwell (82) of Brockton died April 25th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary F. (Gurney) Blackwell.
He was born in Bridgewater son of the late Waldo and Vera (Chase) Blackwell Sr. Gene served in the U.S. Air Force retiring after 20 years of service. He was a member of the CB radio club, enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to the various casino's. He listened to country western music and loved to square dance.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 sons, Michaele, Robbie W. and Jefferey T. Blackwell all of Mississippi, a brother Alan L. Blackwell of N. Easton, 5 Grand and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday May 3rd from 10-11:30 am. Burial will follow in the VA National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
