Joseph J. Conner, age 33, of South Boston, formerly of Kingston and Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 23, 2017.
Born in Boston, MA on December 9, 1983, he was a loving son of Sandra E. (Allen) Goguen and her husband Roland of East Taunton and Joseph F. Conner and his wife Paula of Kingston.
Joe grew up in East Taunton and was educated in Taunton and Kingston schools. He had made his home in Taunton for most of his life and attended Holy Family Church in East Taunton.
Joe was the proud owner of JJC Gutters; a family owned and founded business in Kingston. He loved spending time with family, especially with his niece and nephew.
Joe was also an avid New England sports fan and tuna fisherman who will always be remembered by the lives of those he touched for his remarkable sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he was the dear brother of Rachel M. Conner of Kingston, Melissa A. Peterson of Pembroke and Kylie A. McCarthy and Kristina M. McCarthy both of Kingston. He was the adoring uncle of Aubrielle Fagan and Elijah Fagan. He was the cherished grandson of Janet I. Conner of Virginia Beach, and the late Joseph O. Conner, and Harry D. and Virginia A. Allen. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 28th from 5:00-9:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
