New Bedford— Antonio Medeiros, Jr., age 51 of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of Odette (Correia) and Antonio Medeiros, Sr.
Antonio was born in Redwood City, CA but lived most of his life in New Bedford. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he worked as letter carrier until he retired. Antonio was an avid comic book and action figure collector.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Paul Medeiros and his wife, Susana of Marion as well as 2 nieces, Ariel and Grace Medeiros.
His funeral will be Friday beginning in the funeral home at 8:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to take place at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening between 6:00-8:00 P.M.
