FALL RIVER – Joseph J. Rapoza, age 86 of Fall River and formerly of Swansea, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center. He was the beloved husband of Louise D. (Borges) Rapoza and the son of the late Joseph E. & Cecilia (Viveiros) Rapoza. Prior to retiring, Joseph worked for Harvey Probber, Inc. of Fall River.
In addition to his wife of Fall River, he is survived by his daughter: Deborah A. Paul of Swansea; grandson: David N. Paul; 1 granddaughter: Laura B. Lauser and her husband Benjamin; 1 great granddaughter: Anya Marie Lauser; nieces: Kathy Lubold, Karen White, & Brenda Rezendes; brother in law: George Rezendes; aunt: Hilda Franco; and numerous cousins. He was the brother of the late Noreen Theresa Rezendes & John Rapoza.
