Mary R. (DeFina) Connors 71, of Whitman, formerly of Hyde Park and Canton, passed away on April 23, 2017 due to a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late William Connors.
Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late Andrew and Eda (Blasi) DeFina.
She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for UFCW Local 1445.
Mary was the loving mother of Janet Lawrence and her husband Edward of Whitman, William Connors Jr. and his girlfriend Melissa Tumminello of Boston, beloved grandmother of Savannah and Daniel Lawrence, sister of George DeFina and his life partner Josephine Reynolds of Wrentham and Vera DeFina of Whitman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 27th at 9:45AM from the Blanchard funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 26th from 4:00-8:00PM
