Obituary

SALEM – Hyacinth (Pszenny) Dobbs, 95, of Beverly, wife of the late Attorney Alfred A. Dobbs (formerly Dobrosielski), died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Care One at Essex Park, Beverly, with family by her side.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Otyla (Dobrzeniecki) Pszenny. Mrs. Dobbs was employed at the Salem Savings Bank and Beverly National Bank for many years as a telephone receptionist. Her friends, colleagues, and relatives have long appreciated her sharp wit and playfulness even through her last illness.

She is survived by one son, Paul Dobbs and his wife, Virginia Mullen of Ashuelot, NH, one grandson, Adam A. Dobbs of Malden, a daughter-in-law, Leslie MacWeeney Dobbs of Dorchester, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Walter Pszenny, John Pszenny, Edmond Pszenny, Stephanie Volmer, and Martha Donahue.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. A visitation will be held prior to the service, from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be in Wenham Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
