Louis S. Campanirio, age 49 of Taunton, passed away on April 19, 2017 at Morton Hospital.
Louis was born in Taunton, beloved son of Diana M. (Silva) Langevin of Wareham and the late Aurelio Campanirio.
Before his illness, Louis was employed as a foreman with Hinckley Home Centers in Hyannis, and previously with his uncle’s company Silva Marine Boatyard in Berkley.
He enjoyed weightlifting, music and artwork, but most of all he was a loving and caring person devoted to his family.
Besides his loving mother Diana, Louis is survived by uncles, Andrew F. Silva of E. Sandwich, Francis A. Silva of E. Sandwich, John F. Silva of Berkley and David F. Silva of E. Wareham, his aunt, Mary Ann (Silva) Coelho of W. Wareham, formerly of Monument Beach, Bourne. He is survived by his first cousins, Johnathan Silva of Taunton, Nathan Silva of Taunton and Michael H. Erlich of Monument Beach, Bourne and many second and third cousins and friends.
Mr. Campanirio’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 9 am from The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Mary’s Church, Broadway in Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm.
