MEDFORD NATIVE LTC (RETIRED) ANN BOGRETTE

Ann Bogrette, of Holiday, Florida and Antrim, New Hampshire formerly of Medford, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Holiday, Florida. She was 90 years old.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, on May 17, 1926, she was the beloved daughter of the late William J. and Edna (Austin) Bogrette. Ms. Bogrette was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1944 and Tufts University, class of 1949. Ann entered the US Army at Medford on September 24, 1953 and received her honorable discharge on August 31, 1974. While serving in the Army she attained the rank of Lt. Colonel and had worked as a Physical Therapist in the Army for more that 20 years. She had been on the faculty of the Annie Wright School, Tacoma, Washington, from 1949 to 1953.
She is survived by her loving cousins; Claire J. Bogrette of Westwood, Elizabeth (Brown) Rizzo of Weymouth and Patricia (Brown) Valentine of Peabody. Longtime companion of the late CL Jane Hoehn.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High Street, Medford on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Donations in Ann’s memory may be made to the Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High Street, Medford, MA 02155.
