Obituary

Kim Ruth Manzi, 50, of Belchertown and formerly of Worcester died Friday April 14, 2017 in Brigham and Woman’s Hospital, Boston, surrounded by friends and family.  She is survived by her longtime partner, Joseph Zadworny, daughter, Amanda Dickinson of West Springfield; father, Arthur Manzi of Leicester; sister, Tracy Manzi DeFusco of Worcester; step daughters, Stephanie Wells and Brandy Rosen, both of Worcester; step grandchildren; Josiah, Jacobe, Aniya, Ariella and Avalise; niece Felicia Tracy, nephews, Stephen O’Day, Keith O’Day and Brian Kniskern, Jr.; and many friends.  She was predeceased by her mother Joyce (Hixon) Kazmierczak.
Born in Worcester, she graduated from David Prouty High School. She worked as a General Manager for Wendy’s Restaurant.  Although Kim enjoyed summers at Provincetown on the Cape, as well as music and concerts, spending time with family was key.  As an avid Patriots fan, Kim could be found in her fan gear watching every game. She was witty, kind, giving, endearing, and touched the hearts of many.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. is assisting the family.
