Meriggi, Marco of Needham, formerly of Portovenere, Italy. April 15, 2017 at age 53, after a 15 year courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Loving father of Giorgio, Guglielmo and Gilda Meriggi all of Needham. Marco was a graduate of the University of Pisa, Italy and received his MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The family would like to thank Dr. David McDermott and his team at Beth Israel Medical Center, Boston for providing Marco hope and the best quality of life . His children and their mother together with their extended family will have a private celebration of Marco’s life at their home. Interment will take place in Portovenere, Italy surrounded by family and friends. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Marco’s memory to Biologic Therapy and Cutaneous Oncology Programs at the Beth Israel Medical Center, Boston.
