Thomas Wayne Castanha, 23, of Pembroke, passed suddenly on Thursday, April 13th. Tom is survived by his parents, Ben Castanha of Kingston and Kate Canty of Plympton. He also leaves a brother, Hawk Canty of Plympton, his grandparents, Ronald and Rebecca Castanha of Pembroke and Marian and Wayne Canty of Plympton, along with his many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Tom was a standout football player for Silver Lake High School, Pembroke High School and Bridgton Academy.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 19th, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (rt 106) Kingston. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Tom's name to The Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster.
