Obituary

Hadley R. “Lee” LeClair age 85 of N. Easton, died Thursday April 13, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the devoted husband of Virginia (Fobert) LeClair. Hadley was born and raised in the Beechwood section of Cohasset a son of the late Benjamin and Bertha (Gerard) LeClair. A resident of Easton for over 25 years he previously lived in Kingston.

Hadley had been a manager of the former Capitol Supermarket in Weymouth and was also a bartender for many years at Christos. An avid gardener, Hadley cared for his beautiful lawn and apple trees. He enjoyed pressing homemade cider and cooking. He also enjoyed golf in his retirement and cheering on the Patriots. Hadley loved following politics.

Hadley will be remembered as an opinionated but generous and charming man. He always liked a good laugh and enjoyed Sunday drives to Plymouth for seafood.
In addition to his wife Virginia, Hadley leaves three children Jon D. LeClair and his companion Pamela Kiessling of Plymouth, Laurie J. Flynn of Brockton and her companion Thomas Roberts of W. Bridgewater, and Hadley R. LeClair, Jr. of Plymouth and his companion Anita James of Carver. He leaves seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of Anslem “Leo” LeClair of Bridgewater and the late Donald, Kenneth, Walter, Leighton and Norman LeClair and Theresa Clynes. He leaves three step children Michael Conti of Revere, Christine Mogni of Wakefield and Liana Simone of N. Reading and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday 4-6:30 concluding with a prayer service at 6:30. Please consider donations in Hadley’s name to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
