Madonna Sue (French) Barkdull, 89, of Anderson died April 12, 2017 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born, January 21, 1928 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Claude and Opal (Douglas) French.
She was a pharmacist assistant. She enjoyed spending time with family & cooking and collecting teapots and china.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Unger of Anderson; two brothers, Randy French and Lewis French; three sisters, Mable Bronnenberg, Kay Cade and Barbara Lewis; two grandchildren, Anthony Paul Unger and Stefanie Thomas; three great grandchildren, Mikayla Unger, Zanden Unger and Adrianne Holman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Barkdull.
Family has chosen cremation.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
