Karla Mae (Crim) Mahla, 71, of Anderson died April 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born July 29, 1945 in Anderson, the daughter of James D. and Mary B. (Marshall) Crim. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1963. She was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Mahla, whom she married April 8, 2006; daughter, Shannan L. (Wayne) Bush; three stepchildren, Roger Mahla, Nikki Mahla and Christy (Lucky Maynard) Mahla; two grandchildren, Alexis and Logan Bush; sister, Linda L. Jones and brother, Claris (Barbara) Schuyler; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, her brother, Donald Schuyler and her sister, Janet Brattain.
Services will be on Saturday, 1 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor John Hackney officiating. Private burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service.
