Shirley A. (Harmon) DiGiammarino passed away on April 13, 2017. She was 80 years old.
Shirley was a lifelong resident of Malden. She retired to Florida for many years where she spent time with special friends. Shirley eventually moved back home to be closer to her family and spend time with her grandchildren who she adored dearly.
Shirley was the devoted wife of the late John F. DiGiammarino. She was the beloved mother of Stephen DiGiammarino, Carol Santo and her husband Robert, and Lori DiGiammarino and her partner Todd Nigro. Shirley was the dear sister of George “Sonny” Harmon, Paul Harmon and the late Robert Harmon. She was the cherished grandmother of Renee and Robyn Santo and Ty Cannistraro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday April 19th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday April 18th from 4-8pm. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
