In Taunton, April 11, 2017 Dorothy D, Hazen, Age 65, passed away in her home peacefully while surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband John S. Hazen. She was born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late Alfred W. & Maude C. (Mitchell) Davies. Dorothy had resided in Taunton the past 20 years and was formerly of Foxboro. She was employed as a CNA for Wrentham State Hospital and also as a home health aide. Dorothy enjoyed going to Ganderbrook Christian Camp in Raymond, ME, motor cycle rides with her husband, cooking, caring for people and above all cherished her time with family. In addition to her husband John, Dorothy leaves her children, Debra Bennett of Attleboro, Edward Cataloni of Johnson, RI, Dennis Cataloni of Taunton, November Szczocarz of Rehoboth and Jessica Hazen of Quincy. She also leaves her 10 loving grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, April 18th from 5-7 pm. A church service will be held at the Fall River Church of Christ, 840 Rock Street in Fall River on Wednesday at 10 am. Burial will follow in Cedar Knoll Cemetery in East Taunton.
