Lorraine A. Asselin, 90 passed away peacefully April 5, 2017 at home. Lorraine was born in Chicopee to the late Arthur and Aurore (Dandurand) Asselin. She lived most of her life in the Boston area working for and retiring from Marine Optical. Lorraine enjoyed traveling, trips to the casino and watching television. She loved animals. She was predeceased by her sister Claire Lariviere, her brother Gerald Asselin and her close friend Laurencia Yargeau. Lorraine leaves her brother-in-law John Lariviere and many loving family members and friends. Per Lorraine's request all services are private. Donations in her name can be made to the MSPCA or to Baystate Hospice and VNA.
