Ann Marie Dusey, a resident of Andover since 1977 and beloved wife of Alfred E. Dusey of Andover, passed away peacefully at the Wingate Nursing Center in Andover on Tuesday evening, April 4, 2017. She was 92 years old.
Ann Marie was born in Morrum, Sweden on March 6, 1925. She moved to the US when she was 22 years old and settled in Chicago, IL with her aunt and uncle. Ann Marie met and married Alfred Dusey, raised three daughters, Christine (deceased), Diane, and Anita. Ann worked for many years at Lions International as a Swedish translator. Ann and Alfred moved to Andover in 1977. For many years Ann enjoyed her work, golf, and bowling. In her later years, she looked forward to bingo and visiting often with family. She will be dearly missed.
Ann Marie is survived by her beloved husband Alfred. Daughter Diane and her husband Peter of Indiana, and grandchildren Lara and Lisa. Also daughter Anita and her husband Richard McHugh of Pepperell, MA, and grandchildren Michael, Daniel and Kayleigh.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit with the family on Sunday, April 9, 2017, from 5-8pm at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover.
Funeral Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 360 South Main Street, Andover on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
