Mesa, AZ: Alice Lorraine Sapareto, 93, wife of Frank V. Sapareto, Sr., of Haverhill, MA passed away shortly after her 93rd birthday, surrounded by her loving children in Mesa, Arizona. She was born March 18, 1924 to George and Antoinette Lambert, surviving three brothers, Russell (deceased in infancy), Milton of Lexington MA, and Donald of Amesbury MA. Alice graduated from Haverhill High School and Mt. Auburn School of Nursing. She worked at Hale Hospital, did private nursing, and became school nurse at Consentino Middle School. In 1947, she married Frank V. Sapareto, Sr., celebrating 62 years of marriage. Her many interests included hunting, ceramics, painting, crocheting, sewing and ballroom dancing. She is survived by her three children Frank V. Sapareto of Derry, NH, Stephen Alan Sapareto of Apache Junction, AZ, and Susan Alice Sapareto of Skaneateles, NY as well as three grandchildren, Marc, Justin and Frank and cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, April 16, from 4:00-6:00PM at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave, Haverhill, MA. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, April 17th at 11:00AM at All Saints Parish, 120 Bellevue Ave, Haverhill, MA. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
