Obituary

Windham — James (Jim) J. Quinn, age 69, passed away Tuesday, April 4th at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He passed away with his son, daughter and sister Mary by his side. During his final days Jim was surrounded by his family, friends, love, humor and memories.

Jim is survived by his children (Ryan and Ashley), his daughter-in-law (Mesha), six beautiful grandchildren (Noah, Aiden, Violet, Logan, Ronin and Serafina) and a large network of loving family and friends.

He was born and raised in Maine to William Charles Quinn and Catherine McCarthy. He loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, Jameson and all things tough, rugged and Irish.

Jim is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a bridge specialist. After leaving the army, he had multiple jobs which allowed him to use his talents of building and woodworking.

Our dad was the true embodiment of unconditional love. He loved us at our worst, as much as he inspired us at our best. To know our dad, was to love him, and to laugh with him.

To honor the loving spirit of our father, we will be planning a celebration of life for family and friends this summer.

We promise to keep your spirit alive through the same laughter and love that you raised us with. Thank you for being our father, and for helping to make us who we are today. We love you, and will miss you always.

Give 'em hell, Dad!! Now, go collect on that bet with Bruce!!
