Luis Viera age 74 of Taunton, Passed away on April 4, 2017 at Morton Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of the late Maria (Gomes) Vieira.
Luis was born in Portugal, a son of the late Luis and Leonora (Faria) Silveira.
Before retirement, Luis was employed with the former Denham Concrete & Pipe for many years. He was a member of many years with the Taunton Eagles. Mr. Vieira was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family.
He was the loving father of Mark Paul Vieira of fall River, Richard Vieira and his wife Lucy, and Steven Vieira all of Taunton, grandfather of Evan and Nathan Vieira, and brother of Maria Martins of FL. He was also the brother of the late Eduino DaSilva.
Mr. Vieira’s funeral will be held on Saturday , April 8, 2017 at 9 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square)in Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School St., Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 7th from 4 to 7 pm.
