Dorothy D. "Dot" (Daly) Kelton, a resident of Winthrop and formerly of New Jersey and New York, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 90 years old.
Dot was born in Woodside, NY, a daughter of the late James Daly and Josephine (Dunn) Daly. She grew up in N.Y. where she attended parochial school and graduated from a Catholic high school. Dot was a homemaker throughout her life, taking care of her beloved family. Dot was a devout Catholic. She was very outgoing, loved people and especially pets. She was also very kind and generous.
Dot is the beloved wife of the late William S. Kelton. She is the devoted mother of Edward F. Lambert of Charlestown, and Kathleen Lambert of Weymouth. She is the loving grandmother to Tricia Brafford, and to her great-grandchildren Haley Lambert, Dylan Lambert, and Edward Brafford. She is the beloved sister of the late Muriel Conlon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dot's funeral on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10 A.M. at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031, followed by her Funeral Mass in the Queen of Peace Church, 10 Franklin Pl, North Arlington, NJ 07031 at 11:15 A.M. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
