Cormican, Helen R. (Rogers), age 94, of Dorchester, passed away peacefully, in her loving family’s company on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Born in Boston, she lived in Roxbury prior to her move to Dorchester where she and her husband raised their family. Mrs. Cormican was a loving and supportive wife and mother. She was also a former employee of the Radio Shack Warehouse, where she worked for many years. The beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Cormican, she was the devoted mother of Helen A. Fredholm of Braintree, Catherine A., Donna M. & Michael W., all of Dorchester, Joseph C., Jr. of Millis, Paul F. of Randolph, James P. of Milford, and Robert L. Cormican of Everett. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and was the close friend of the Corsi family of Milford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, Monday, April 3rd at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Sunday, April 2nd from 4 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
