LACONIA - John Wayne Edson, 51, of 145 Rollercoaster Road, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
He was born on March 6, 1966 in New York, the son of Walter A. Sr. and Shirley (Watterson) Edson. John worked as a Foundry Manager for Hebert's Foundry in Laconia and also for New Hampshire Ball Bearing. He enjoyed tattooing, riding his motorcycle, hunting and especially spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Laurie (Grasso) Edson of Laconia, one son, Bradley Edson Palmer, one daughter, Abigail Edson, two step-daughters; Molly Dunleavy and Nakia Chambers, one grandchild, Lily-Ann Laplant, three brothers; Douglas Edson, Walter A. Edson Jr. and Richard Edson, five nieces and two nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a nephew, Aaron Downing.
Calling hours will be held from 4Pm to 7Pm on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A memorial service will immediately follow the calling hours at 7PM, also at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
