Andrew L. McKenzie, 68, of Berlin, passed away on March 28, 2017 at his home. He was born in Berlin on August 26, 1948 the son of Andrew L. McKenzie, Sr. and Beth McKenzie and was a lifelong resident. He had been employed by the local paper mill for over 20 years and retired as a foreman at the Flock Plant. Andrew fought wildfires in his younger years with his grandfather and he had a great interest in cars, including antique cars. He had a big heart and was a humanitarian who put others before himself. Andrew was a loving caring dad, grandfather, brother, son and friend.
Family includes his children Bobby McKenzie and Katie McKenzie both of Berlin, NH; his grandchildren Michael Normand, Sonya Ferguson and Brandi Ferguson; his mother Beth McKenzie of West Milan, NH; his siblings Rick McKenzie and wife Gisele of Berlin, NH, Melinda Mann and husband Steve of Concord, NH, Caroleen Dudley and husband Steve of Oquossuc, ME, Timothy McKenzie and wife Joy of Chapel Hill, NC and Kim McKenzie of Dover, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Andrew L. McKenzie, Sr., sisters, Ilene Kollar and Tina Hayes and a brother, Eugene McKenzie.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 at 1 PM at the Russian City Cemetery in Berlin. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
