Joseph Proctor Ball, 87, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born in Holy Cross, KY May 24, 1929.
He always worked hard to provide for his family. He loved his job and always gave 110% at whatever he did, especially his last one at Owen Funeral Home-Dixie Highway.
He was a retired employee of Jefferson Kitchens, and a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Fayedella (Risen) Ball; his children, Joseph Michael Ball (Cindy) and Karen Robbins (Steve); two grandchildren, Sarah Burke (Joe) and James Ball; three great grandchildren, Joey, Jack and Jeff Burke; his brother Charles Ball; and sisters, Sharon Wiehe, Barbara Archer, and Beulah Johnson.
Funeral services will be Friday at Noon at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Central, Radcliff, KY.
Visitation will be Thursday 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
