Laconia-----Adrienne N. McCrea, 78, of 39 Bowman Street, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro.
Adrienne was born in Franklin, on July 9, 1938 the daughter of Raymond and Delia (Champagne) Legare. She was raised in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School.
Adrienne had been a resident of Laconia since 1956, she was employed for a number of years at the South End Market, and worked for many years for the Lunch Program at the Laconia Middle School. She was a volunteer for many years for Laconia Little League, Adrienne was very active at St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed Bingo, bowling, going to the ocean, watching her family members play sports, and traveling with her late husband, "Larry",
Adrienne is survived by four sons, Gary W. McCrea and his wife, Laura, of Laconia, Shawn P. McCrea, of Dover, Kevin M. McCrea and his partner, Monica, of Laconia and Brett S. McCrea and his wife, Bernardine, of Laconia; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren, a sister, Delores Cutting and her husband, Will, of Franklin; a sister-in-law, Patricia Legare, of Franklin and many nephews and nieces and special friends, Marilyn Lamere and Carol DeCormier. In addition to her parents, Adrienne, was predeceased by her soul mate, her husband, of 51 years, Lawrence "Larry" F. McCrea in 2010, two brothers, Raymond and Mark Legare.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Whipple Ave. entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia NH.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 9:30am in St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia NH.
The McCrea Family would like to thank the Huggins Hospital and staff for the great care that Adrienne received.
