Obituary

Jo-Ann M. Keenan, 55, of Whitman, died on March 24 at Signature Healthcare Brockton, after a 5 month battle with breast cancer. Born in Boston in 1961, Jo-Ann was the beloved daughter of Alfred and Roseann (Licciardi) Keenan of Whitman.

She attended the Boston School for the Deaf, The Learning Center for Deaf Children and graduated in 1982 from Taunton High School.

Jo-Ann worked at Standard Products in Whitman for several years. She enjoyed many activities including doing jig-saw puzzles, playing Scrabble and spending time with her family and friends.

She was an avid Red Sox fan and never missed watching a game on TV.

Along with her parents, she leaves behind her two sisters, Kathleen Liolios and her husband Charles of Plymouth and Denise Keenan of Rockland, and a brother Gerald Keenan and his wife Deborah of Bridgewater. She also leaves behind a niece and two nephews, Molly Liolios and Kyle Liolios of Plymouth and Michael Munroe of Fall River, as well as her beloved godparents, Bob & Evelyn Liberatore of Somerville and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 29th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, MA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 28th from 4:00-8:00PM. Burial will be at the MA National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date.
