TILTON - Cary R. Baron, 73, of Tilton, formerly a longtime resident of Belmont, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 in his home after a long illness.
He was born on June 21, 1943 in Baltimore, MD., the son of the late Thomas and Dolores (McAlexander) Baron. Cary worked as a welder for a number of companies, such as Lewis & Saunders, Scotia and New Hampshire Ball Bearing. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, fishing and spending time with family. Cary was a baseball coach for BBO in Belmont. He enjoyed watching co-ed softball at Memorial Field and spending time with his numerous friends there.
He is survived by his wife of almost forty years, Diane (Laro) Baron of Tilton, three sons; Shane Baron and his partner Sheryl Harding of Tilton, Kevin Baron and his wife Saundra of Gilford and Tyler Baron and his wife Carrie of Tilton, one brother, Tom Baron and his wife Terri of Redding, CA, several grandchildren, including Ashlynn, Brenden, Jacoby, Persephone, Gwendalynn, Gianna, Allie, Maverick, Aubrey, Baylee, Aiden and Libby, two brothers in law; Mark Laro and Everett Jewell of North Carolina, one sister in law, Phyllis Clairmont of Gilmanton and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters; Yolanda and Yvette Baron.
Calling hours will be held from 5PM to 7PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
