Providence, RI – LuAnn (Crowley) Sullivan, 62, of New Bedford passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on March 18, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael J. Sullivan.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in Acushnet, daughter of the late John E., Jr. and Barbara A. (Avery) Crowley, and resided in the greater New Bedford area all of her life. She was employed as a cashier at Trucchi’s until leaving due to illness. She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, was an avid Red Sox fan but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Jodi L. Acevedo and her long-time companion, Brian Pereira and Debra A. Sullivan; her son: Jamie M. Sylvia; her brother: Robert J. Crowley and his wife, Aline; 4 grandchildren: Juan “John” L. Acevedo, Jr., Heaven L. Acevedo, John W. Sylvia and Hannah E. Pereira; and several nieces & nephews. She was sister of the late Donna M. Jackson and Glen E. Crowley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 5:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral services on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home followed immediately by burial of cremains at Acushnet Cemetery.
