Laurie Ann Ritson passed away suddenly on March 17, 2017, at her home in Beverly.
Laurie was born on June 5, 1961 in Lynn, MA. When she was 10 years old her parents and siblings moved to Everett where she graduated from Everett Vocational High School. Shortly after that she married her high school sweetheart and gave birth to her son, Michael Dylan Ritson. Not long after that she was divorced and moved in with her sister. While living there she met Ricky and shortly after that she gave birth to her daughter Tiffany Lynne Mangiafico.
Laurie was an adventure. She enjoyed camping, hiking, and going for walks. She was also creative, and would decorate with plants, dolls, nik nacks, pictures and was always changing things around.
Laurie was the daughter of the late William Maggs and Ruthie Oberlander. She was the sister of Richard Maggs and the late William Maggs and Bonnie Spaulding. She was an aunt at age 10 and was loved by 11 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and 1 great great niece. Laurie also got to enjoy and love her grandson Brendon and her granddaughter Alanna. Laurie had many friends that she loved and adored daily. She will be deeply missed by many.
Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday March 25th from 12:00p.m.-1:30p.m. A service will be held at 1:00p.m. during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Contributions in Laurie’s memory may be made directly to Spadafora Funeral Home.
