Janet M. Crane (Bosworth) age 67 of Canton passed away peacefully on March 21st in the presence of her family. She was raised in Randolph and graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School and Regis College. Janet lived in Canton since 1971 and was an Elementary School Teacher at the Martin E. Young School in Randolph for many years before retiring to raise her children. She helped her husband run the family business, Bolivar Tire, in Canton.
Janet enjoyed reading, painting, playing whist, and completing the Sunday Times crossword puzzle. She loved spending time with her family and friends at the family’s cottage in New Hampshire and hosting the extended family on Thanksgiving. Janet looked forward to phone calls with her sisters each day, indulged her family with wonderful meals and desserts and hosted social gatherings with a warmth and happiness that so many will remember fondly.
Beloved wife of John T. for 46 years. Mother of David Crane and his wife Amy of Wilmington, Jeffrey Crane and his wife Rebekah of Dover and the late John T. Jr. Grandmother of Parker J. Crane of Dover. Sister of Nancy McDonnell of Randolph, the late George Bosworth Jr. of Duxbury, Martha Kmito of Hanover, and Barbara Bosworth of Braintree. Janet is also survived by many close friends, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday March 27th at 10 am. Visiting hours Sunday March 26th from 3-7 pm.
