Obituary

Mr. Daniel K. McDonald, 71 of Dracut, passed away on Tuesday at Whitter Rehabilitation Hospital in Bradford, MA. Born in Logan, West Virginia, Mr. McDonald had only lived in the Dracut area a short time. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver for Praxair, was an active member of the First Christian Church of Logan, W. Virginia, and loved to spend time with his family. Son of the late Jonas and Mary (Avis) McDonald, he was also pre-deceased by his two brothers Michael and James McDonald. Mr. McDonald is survived by his son John McDonald and his wife Christine (Buckley) McDonald of Dracut, MA, two grandchildren Benjamin and Ryan McDonald of Dracut, MA, two sisters; June Suraez of Peach Tree WV, and Lorna Runyon of Virginville, WV. There are many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held on March 31st at 2:00 pm at First Christian Church, 431 Main Street, Logan WV 25601. Arrangements are under the direction of the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut, MA. Online condolences may be shared at www.racicotfuneralhome.com
